A Minneapolis man who's name has still not been released died days after being stabbed on Central Avenue. Officers found the man at 12:30am after they responded to a report about the man and he was then taken to the Hennepin county medical center. A 39 year old man was arrested for the crime, there was a 16 year old boy that was said to be injured also and there were up to 7 witness' at the scene of the crime.

It scares me that things like this can happen so close to home, it just shows you what people can do. I think its sad that the man didn't die right away he died days later at the hospital because his wounds were to grave. I just don't understand how someone could kill another person its beyond me. The murderer also did it in front of 7 people so he must have been specifically aiming for that one man other wise there was honestly no point.

I read the article about how the two men accused of spies just got released from a prison in Iran after being held captive for two years. They were arrested around the iran-iraqi boarder with another female that was traveling with them but the female was released just last year. The bail deal to get these two men out was 1 million dollars which was approved by the court.

Ruby Bridges was the first african american to go to an all white school. She grew up in the time frame of 1954 and is still living today. Her life is significant because she went to an all white school and lead New Orleans to eventually desegragate their schools.

1. They first tell you the answer they want you to hear, second they explain their answer, and then third they blurt out a soundbite but they only do that if you wait a little before jumping into the follow up question.


2. The non question question is when you bring up something about what you're there for without directly saying it to the person you are wanting to interview so they open up and explain to you so you get the soundbite that you're looking for.

I read the article about how the Wisconsin hunter got shot in the face and is now in stable condition. First off I don't understand how you can be shot in the face and live, you have to be super lucky if that is to happen. Police still don't know if it was accidental or foul play, but this whole story in general is just so unbelievable its not something that you hear everyday and i find that really interesting.

The Jonesboro Shooting was a school shooting that occurred on march 24th 1998 in Westside Middle School. Five people in total were killed four female students and a teacher, ten people were injured. The shooters were 13 year old Mitchell Johnson, and 11 year old Andrew Golden. They're are some assumptions that they did it due to violent video games and that some of the people they shot at had a negative impact on them but no one knows the real reason. The angle of this story that I would focus on would be the families of the lost and the families of the perpetrators.

Justin Bieber and Shawn Stockman from the group Boys II Men are rumored to be collaborating on a song to be put in Justin's Christmas album. They are photographed in the studio together as Justin talks about his Mexico to South America, he will be hitting places like Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, hes also making a stop in Illinois at the end. Personally I love the idea with the collaboration mostly because I love Justin Bieber so I love everything he does! But he has sang his famous song "U smile" with Boys II Men in the past and the mix of their voices was phenomenal. Im also super excited for his new christmas album because he needs new music out! But I wish his tour was stopping in Minnesota.

Minnesota wildfire spread fast near The Boundary Waters, covering at least 160 square miles. Chicago and Milwauke Wisconsin have been saying they can seen the smoke from this undying blaze. The calmer winds are said to stop the blaze from spreading so rapidly in hopes that they can finally put the fire to rest. Fire fighters are hopefull that with the calmer winds it wont spread even a quarter of a mile tofay. Luckily no buildings have been burnt and no people have been injured and the hope is that it stays that way. I really hope that the fire dies down soon its not very often that Minnesota has a wildfire that spreads this fast its amazing.

I personally think that it definitely could work, moving games onto google may make them entirely more popular because some people who don't have a Facebook or access to these games can now play them through google plus. It's not necessarily relevant to me because i do not play the Facebook games but i do feel that now that they are on google i may play them a bit more.

9/11 is a tragedy in our history it shows how uncivilized we really are. We should be evolving to be better humans but instead we find ourselves living in the past. Can the people responsible celebrate at the sight of those mourning their loved ones even after 10 years. A nice memorial is now in place of where the towers once stood to remeber the victims from that tragic day.

The University of Wisconsin Madison is now requiring students to take a course on alcohol abuse if they get an alcohol related citation. They will be referred to counseling and possibly kicked out of the dorms if they violate the school policy. The students would have to pay $78 for two group sessions or $200 one on one sessions with a substance abuse counselor. Which is in addition the the ticket of $263.50 for drinking citation in the first offense. The program that Madison will be using is called Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for the College Student, or BASICS.

A 45 year old Swede was stunned as he looked out into his neighbors yard to see a female moose stuck in their apple tree late Tuesday. They say that the moose was likely drunk from eating fermented apples, they were later able to free the moose by sawing off one of the branches. Other neighbors had said that they had seen the moose sneaking around the area for days.

Meghan Stevens

Meghan is an outgoing music loving girl, she's always singing or playing guitar because its one of her favorite things to do. Meghan is not only good at singing and playing guitar she's also good at math and softball. Meghan has two brothers EJ and Connor but has no pets I think the brothers are enough to deal with. This past summer she spent three weeks in the warm yellow sun which also happens to be her favorite color.
